Office hours & replies

Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Eastern. Routine messages receive a response within two business hours. Messages after 4:30 p.m. or on weekends receive a response the next business day.

To follow up on a routine request, text the office number. An appointment is confirmed only after you hear from our team.

For an eye concern, colic, laceration, or another emergency, call immediately. Leave your name, callback number, horse’s location, and a brief description of the problem. A doctor will return your call within 15 minutes.

Please leave one clear message and keep your phone available; repeated calls or messages do not speed up the response. If you have not heard from a doctor within 15 minutes, or your horse’s condition changes, call again. Use the emergency phone route rather than a text or website form.

Emergency care is available to active EPVP clients only. Non-active clients should contact a veterinarian or emergency facility able to accept their case. A new-client request does not establish emergency eligibility.
